Bernardo Arsuaga Cardenas is a Mexican filmmaker, director, and producer known for award-winning documentary films including The Weekend Sailor and The Michoacán File. Based in Monterrey, Mexico, Bernardo transitioned from a successful legal career to filmmaking in 2013 and has since received international recognition, including honors from the James Beard Foundation and the Newport Beach Film Festival. He has collaborated with global figures such as Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran and actor Danny Trejo. Bernardo is also a partner in a post-production studio and continues to develop impactful documentary storytelling projects worldwide.
